The BAKER Shift Pawl adresses the problems the OEM shifter pawl is well known for. All 5-Speed OEM-Transmissions come with a Scissor Spring on the shifter. That spring is well known for breaking after thousands and thousands of shifts. A broken spring can cause serious damage to your tansmission.
The BAKER-Shifter comes with a leafe-type spring that wont break! This shifter is standard in every BAKER Transmission and is now available as an Upgrade for your existing tranny.
